Offenbach: Orpheus in the Underworld: Infernal Galop (Can-Can)

From the opera 'Orpheus in the Underworld', the 'Infernal Gallop' comes from Act 2 Scene 2, where the opera livens up and the gods are having a party in hell.

This piece is famously recognised under the name 'Can-Can' due to the dance associated with it.

It has appeared in 'Monty Python's Flying Circus', and Moulin Rouge.
