Another gruesome rape and murder of a minor in Jharkhand

A 5-year-old girl was allegedly raped and killed in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad. The perpetrated was her neighbour. According to the victim’s mother the accused, Dablu, insisted on taking their daughter to a wedding function in the locality. After a few hours, Dablu returned and asked the parents if the girl had returned home. Her parents launched a search for their daughter but in vain. Police arrested the accused who confessed his crime. The body of the victim was recovered from a nearby area and has been sent for post-mortem. An investigation is underway.
