Amid Cash crunch, 4 days bank holidays; are you getting your cash

While cash crunch woes go on, the banks are going to be closed for next 4 days due to bank holiday in many states. The banks will be closed from today till May 1. The holidays will be observed in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. Earlier this month, severe cash crunch was reported in various parts of the country and it remains to be seen whether the banks are now prepared to ensure the availability of cash during the course of next four days.
