A couple visiting Louisville zoo had a once in a lifetime experience interacting with a friendly chimpanzee.

The footage, captured on April 1, shows an ape mirroring a man's actions and blowing kisses to him.

A woman can be heard in the background, saying: ''Oh my god, is he giving you a kiss?''

''That is so cute.'

The woman, who filmed the incredible moment, writes: ''The chimpanzee really loved my fiance.

''I think he has a new girlfriend now.''
