“Voice of the people of Karnataka”, that’s how Congress president Rahul Gandhi described his party’s manifesto for the upcoming Karnataka elections. Taking a dig at the BJP, Gandhi said the manifesto that the saffron party will release would not be for the people of Karnataka but reflect the views of the RSS. The 50-page document has various heads under 'Progress Made And The Road Ahead'. The manifesto sports a pictorial representation of the promises one goes not want to peruse the long document. Releasing the document, Gandhi said that the Siddaramaiah government had fulfilled 95% of 2013 poll promises. Come May 15 the world will know if the document was indeed the “mann ki baat” of the people of the state. Elections to the 225-seat assembly are scheduled for May 12.
