‘A Quiet Place’ Sequel Confirmed Paramount studio chairman-CEO Jim Gianopulos announced part two of the highly-successful horror film at CinemaCon on Wednesday. ‘A Quiet Place’ defied expectations, raking in $213 million at the worldwide box office to date, with $134.8 million in North America. The $17 million budget thriller is directed by John Krasinski, who also stars in the film opposite real-life wife Emily Blunt. The film opened at No. 1 but then came behind The Rock’s ‘Rampage’ in its second week. Now it’s back at No. 1 in week three. There is no release date set for the sequel.
