Mohenjo DAro the Hrithik Starrer directed by Asutosh Gowariker takes us down the Indus Valley Civilisation when everything was so simple and charming but love was perennial and never was a changed emotion.

Yes, the story is about a simple farmer played by Hrithik who goes to the city and is smitten by a high status woman played by Pooja Hegde. The challenge is to fight against all odds to save the love and the civilization in course of the movie. In fact with a veteran like Asutosh who would have taken all the pains to do his research work we know this Lagaan director would not fail us in any way. The film is stupendous with its sets which seem so real and also the story which we can relate to.

Nothing is out of the way and nothing is surreal. Everything is in the face and the music is so much like as if Asutosh has lived in those times and remembers how it was. It is genuine and a result of hard work. There is a lot of authenticity in what is portrayed and the ending is something that one would never have seen in a Bollywood film.

For all the directorial efforts and the amazing acting by Pooja and Hrithik we give it 3.5 stars./
