MoviezAdda and Bollywood Guide G9 present you a very short but quite unique segment, called 'Ek Jhalak'. In this new segment, we will be showing you some random, rare and retro pictures from our old archives, along with all kinds of intriguing trivia or untold stories associated with it, if any.
These respective rare pictures would be either from film parties, premiers, on-shoot locations, muharats, jubilee celebrations, music launches and many more celeb events.
So let's start with our Episode No. 43 of Ek Jhalak, in which we would be talking about different films and actors, along with their respective trivia's.
5) This is one of the magical pics, where you can see megastar Amitabh Bachchan along with writers Salim-Javed. Salim and Javed wrote some marvelous films for Big B and were one of the big reasons for Amitabh to become a superstar. Some of the films include Zanjeer, Majboor, Sholay, Deewar, Trishul, Don Kaala Patthar, Dostana, Shaan, Shakti and Imaan Dharam.
4) This pic is from a party of Hema Malini directed movie Dil Aashna Hai. In the pic, you can see veteran actress Hema Ji along with film’s costars Shah Rukh Khan and Divya Bharti. And very few know that this is the first movie of King Khan, while he shot for Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman and Deewana.
3) It’s family time and this time it’s Vinod Khanna with his dashing wife and sweet kids – Rahul and Akshay. Don’t you think Akshay looks cutie pie in the pic? Did you know Akshay’s first film was produced by his dad Vinod Khanna? Well, he wanted to launch his son in a grand way!

Also: did you know Kareena Kapoor was the first choice for the movie? But as they say, one’s loss is another’s gain…Kareena rejected the offer, which later landed on Ameesha’s lap.
