Yogi Adityanath to campaign for BJP; can Yogi win Karnataka for Modi — Nation at 9
  • 6 years ago
In battle for Karnataka, the last person many would have expected to see as the mascot of the BJP is the U.P Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. But not only will he be campaigning, he's done that before, but he's going on an all out blitz. 36 rallies are planned in 6 days for him starting on May 3. He's clearly no.2 campaigner and calling card for the BJP in Karnataka now after Narendra Modi, who will indubitably have to lead his flock in yet another effort to open's BJP's gateway to the south. One thing is obvious, where the congress is relying on Kannada pride, the BJP is now relying on a pitch for Hindu unity. And the man exemplifying the Ram Rajya from Gorakhpur, a sage, a former MP, now in charge of the governance of the people of the state will lead that charge. Which will work? We debate, you decide. Here's the plan.
