Raja Hindustani

Did you know Aishwarya Rai rejected Aamir Khan’s ‘Raja Hindustani’? Well, Karisma Kapoor's role in Raja Hindustani was first offered to Ash, but she rejected it because she was not sure about her Bollywood career then. Even now people love the pair of Aamir Khan and Karisma from that film.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

The blockbuster of Karan Johar directorial “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” helped Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji to gain popularity. It is said that the role of Rani was first offered to Aishwarya, but she didn't sign it. As they say – one’s loss is another’s gain…the role landed on Rani’s lap.

Asoka

The Bachchan Bahu was also offered to play the role of Kaurwaki in this historical drama. However, Aish chose not to do the movie and, hence, we got a chance to see King Khan romancing Kareena Kapoor. Kareena’s role in Asoka as Kaurwaki was loved and appreciated by the audiences. The film was a success, too.

Munnabhai M.B.B.S

Rajkumar Hirani wanted to cast Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan in his directorial movie. Nonetheless, when King Khan opted out, citing to his shoulder injury, Sanjay Dutt was brought in to play in the lead. And since Sanju Baba was going through a rough phase in his career back then, Aishwarya left the project midway.

Badlapur

And last but not the least, Sriram Raghvan wanted to Aishwarya Rai and Saif Ali Khan to play the lead in this revenge drama. But when Chhote Nawab was replaced by Varun Dhawan, Aishwarya backed out from the film, not wanting to be paired opposite a much-younger hero. Hmm!
