Macaque Naruto Losts Legal Battle Over His Selfies

A macaque in Indonesia took selfies when a photographer David slater left his camera unattended. Slater published a book featuring Naruto whom he admitted that the monkey took the image himself. PETA (The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) filed a law suit claiming copyrights of said images on behalf of the macaque. The legal battle has ended in favor of the photographer.
