Kanye West Reportedly Wants to ‘Leave the Traditional Music Business’ According to Billboard and TMZ, West has parted ways with his manager, Scooter Braun, after two and half years. Sources told Billboard that West has told people that he wants to bring everything in-house and not use a music manager or lawyer. This is the second major shift in West’s inner circle in the past month. On March 28, the rapper parted ways with his other manager, Izvor “Izzy” Zivkovic, who had worked with West for eight years. Other artists, like Beyonce and Bruno Mars, have also made the decision to use in-house managers or use their own management companies.
