Nico Mannion has become one of the biggest stars of the Under Armour Association. The 2020 point guard sometimes known by his nickname "Red Mamba" plays alongside 2019 guard Josh Green for West Coast Elite. This duo is the most electrifying tandem in the 2018 UAA.
In a matchup of 2020 guards, Mannion faced Jamal Mashburn Jr (son of former NBA player Jamal Mashburn) and his Team Breakdown 17U squad. In the first half, Nico Mannion stole the ball, went the length of the floor and dunked over a much taller defender and drew the foul.
This dunk was the top play of UAA Session I (Dallas) and had the gym buzzing.
West Coast Elite won the game 66-43 (stopped at 2 min mark) after holding Team Breakdown to 13 second half points!.
Nico Mannion scored 18 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals. Josh Green added 14 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and DJ Rodman (son of Dennis Rodman) added 7 points for West Coast Elite.
Jamal Mashburn led Breakdown with 15 points.
