Javadekar meets BSY to calm frayed nerves; arrived in Mysuru last night
  • 6 years ago
In a bid to calm to strained nerves after yesterday‘s fiasco where BJP workers ransacked the public meeting attended by BS Yeddyurappa after his son Vijayendra was denied ticket to contest from Varuna, BJP national leaders including Prakash Jhavdekar and Muralidhar Rao are in a close door meeting with the Lingayat strongman. BJP sources say that party will heed to the demand by workers to make Vijendra the official candidate. With just hours to go for closing of filing nomination, this is being seen as a last ditch effort by the party. Javadekar arrived in Mysore hotel late last night.
