A Baltimore man’s dinner plans went up in smoke at the Cava Mezze on April 17 when the restaurant’s sprinkler system was activated during the serving of saganaki cheese.Oath employee James Hughes was dining with business partners when they “ordered too much saganaki” to their table. Saganaki, a Greek cheese-based dish, is sometimes lit on fire before being served.A clip shared to social media shows three restaurant workers being doused by the sprinkler system as they showcase the serving of saganaki.Hughes shared a clip of the fiery incident to Facebook.
