கோயிலுக்குள் விளையாடிக் கொண்டிருந்த சிறுமியை பாலியல் வன்கொடுமை செய்ததாக சூளைமேடு கோயில் பூசாரியை போலீசார் கைது செய்துள்ளனர். சூளைமேடு பகுதியில் வயதான தம்பதியினர் வசித்து வருகின்றனர். தற்போது பள்ளி விடுமுறை என்பதால் அவர்களின் 3 வயது பேத்தி தாத்தா பாட்டியைக் காண வந்துள்ளார். இந்நிலையில் வீட்டின் அருகில் ஸ்ரீகன்னிகா பரமேஸ்வரி கோவில் ஒன்று உள்ளது. இந்த கோவிலில் பூசாரியாக பணிபுரிந்து வருபவர் உதயகுமார்.
