‘30 Rock’ May Not Be Getting Rebooted After All Rumors have been running rampant that the popular sitcom might be rebooted but Tina Fey just dampened expectations. Fey, who created the show and starred as one its central characters, told Jimmy Fallon that a revival of the show would be unlikely. Robert Carlock [30 Rock showrunner] and I would never do a straight reboot because that would be too easy. We’ll try to think of a way to do something. What should we do, a prequel that’s like Muppet Babies? Or set in a dystopian future where there’s a lot of robot sex? Fey had previously told Entertainment Weekly that if there was going to be a reboot, they would know by May. Guess we have to hold out for a reboot of ‘The Office’.
