It’s not every day that a union minister alleges an assassination plot. Which is why the case of Anant Kumar Hegde; is extremely interesting and important. Hegde has alleged yesterday a truck deliberately tried to kill him. As the vehicle came from wrong side and hit his escort vehicle on NH near Halageri in Haveri district in Karnataka around 11:30 pm last night. He tweeted, a post-accident video and a photograph of the arrested truck driver, who has been identified as Nasir. The case unfortunately took political turns, while the BJP should pursue the case through a fair and early probe. The Congress instead of making communal comments should in fact try and find any truth to these allegations.
