DIY Heated Bike Handle Grips - Awesome Idea!!!

Thanks for your suggestions! I read all the comments on my videos, so keep commenting your ideas and I might make it for my next video. In thisI made DIY heated handlebar grips. Thanks Lukasz! The heater is made by inserting kanthal wire into thin layers of soft polymer clay. I then 3D printed a protective casing for the electronics, and a nylon grip to keep everything in place. \r

I was impressed by the performance. In just a minute the temperature rose from 22 degrees to 40 degrees. This is a perfect project for someone that use their bike during the cold months! Or even for motorcycles. \r

The Li-ion batteries are three 2600mAh connected in , to make a 12V (3S) battery. The battery is connected to a BMS (battery management system), for safety. The BMS is then connected to a temperature controller, that based on the temperature measured from its probe, will turn on/off the relay. \r
