How to make a Paper Toothpick Glider that Flies Very Far

Dear viewers!\r
\r
Thank you for checking this video out, seems to be quiet popular! \r
I also want to thank you for all the kind comments, I read all of them!\r
\r
I wanted to give you guys some more tips to make your toothpick glider fly better!\r
\r
-If your glider flies very unstable and is hard to make it fly well, this could mean the weight of your plane is too far back. \r
To solve this issue, you just make sure you glue your toothpick a little bit more forward so the center of gravity is more to the front.\r
\r
-If your glider tends to dive nose down, this means your weight is to much on front. The first thing you must try is to give the back of the wing MORE upward curvature (make sure that the left and right wing get the ex same amount of curvature). This will probably solve your problem. If your glider still tends to go rather fast and dive rather steep to the ground you can try to glue the toothpick a bit more backward. You could also cut a little bit of the toothpick to reduce the front weight. \r
\r
-If your glider flies in a fast spiral down motion this means your wings are not symmetric. Precision is really important with these tiny gliders, as even the slightest bend or twist will make your glider turn and spin violently. Hold your glider in front of your face like you were to throw it away from you and look with one eye closed, this way you can check if the wings are symmetric. If you are sure that your wings are symmetric and have no twist or irregularities, you can further adjust your glider with the vertical fins as shown in the video.\r
\r
Hope this helps!\r
\r
Happy flying!\r
