Pentagon Says Joint Strikes Successful, But Syria Maintains 'Residual' Capacity

According to a report by Business Insider, the Pentagon claimed that a series of military strikes on Syria carried out by a US-led coalition was meant to strike at the 'heart' of Syria's chemical weapons program. Director of the Joint Staff Lt. Gen. Kenneth McKenzie announced that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad still maintains a "residual" capacity for chemical attacks.
