⛄POP ROCK CUPCAKES ⛄CHRISTMAS EDITION ⛄FOOD FRIDAY ⛄SMELLYBELLYTC

Its Food Friday and we make Christmas cupcakes with a candy cane pop rock garnish, and a snowball cotton candy topper!! This recipe is so easy and fun. We used a box cake mix, but we added a few ingredients to make it taste homemade. Here is what you need to make these festive cupcakes!\r
1 box red velvet cake mix\r
1 cup of buttermilk\r
4 eggs\r
1/3 cup or 5 tbsp of butter (melted)\r
pop rocks (we used candy cane flavored found at target)\r
chopped up peppermints\r
cotton candy (we used snowball flavor that we found at target)\r
mini candy canes\r
vanilla frosting\r
\r
First, Mix cake mix, buttermilk, butter and eggs until combined. Pour into cupcake pan lined with cupcake liners. Follow instructions on box for baking. Let cool before decorating.\r

Top with vanilla frosting, pop rocks and crushed peppermint. Add your mini candy cane with the curved side sticking into the cupcake. Top the candy cane with your cotton candy to resemble a snowball!!
