President Trump on Friday pardoned Scooter Libby. Libby was convicted in 2007 of committing four felonies during an FBI investigation. The FBI was looking into the leak of the identity of CIA officer Valerie Plame Wilson. “I don’t know Mr. Libby,” said Trump, “but for years I have heard that he has been treated unfairly. Hopefully, this full pardon will help rectify a very sad portion of his life.”
