Donald Trump orders airstrikes on Syria, Britain and France join United States in coordinated attack

America, Britain and France have launched airstrikes against the Syrian regime to punish its chemical attack that killed more than 70 people. In a televised address Donald Trump announces joint operation, saying the strikes would target the regime’s ability to use chemical weapons. Meanwhile Russian ambassador to Lebanon has said Russia will retaliate to US missile strikes and will target its bases.
