In a major development , the Allahabad High Court has ordered the arrest of accused BJP Mla Kuldeep Singh Sengar involved in the Unnao gangrape case. The court has ordered the CBI to submit the status report in the case by may 2. Kuldeep Singh Sengar, the BJP lawmaker from Uttar Pradesh who has been charged with the rape of the 18-year-old girl , was detained by the Cbi early morning and was interrogated in the case. The Cbi has also taken 6 police personnel in its custody who will be taken to Lucknow for cross examination with the main accused Kuldeep Sengar. The Cbi has taken over the investigation against the Bjp Mla with three cases filed against him at Makhi police station in Unnao, 50 kilometres from state capital Lucknow. The Bjp Mla has been charged under the stringent Pocso act and sections of the Indian penal code or Ipc dealing with rape and kidnapping.
