DIY Barbie / Doll Ball Gown - Miniature Dress Tutorial
  • 6 years ago
Hi guys! Today were making a cute doll ball gown :D In this tutorial I show how to saw a dress for any type of doll, be it miniature or barbie, that you can customize to look however you like. I went for an elegant, red and gold theme, but that is totally optional ^^ For projects like these you can save some time by sewing some parts on a sewing machine, but I sewed everything by hand, so dont worry if you dont have machine. For decorations you can use whatever you have; I used different types of lace and rhinestones meant for nails art ;) Let me know if you wanna see more projects like this :D\r

Good to know:\r
I mostly work in 1:12 scale, but you can make them in any size you want and add headpins to make them charms :) I used a mix of the polymer clay brands Fimo and Cernit, but you can use any brand you like. The liquid clay I use is from the brand Fimo. My mold maker is from Siligum/Sili-put.\r
