I learned while filming this that im awful at answering questions so im sorry for all the awkward jump cuts - I rambled a lot! It was also my second attempt at recording this so I hope I dont seem too frustrated. This has been really highly requested and ive wanted to film it for so long that I didnt want to put off uploading it any longer, even with the issues!\r

RE: What do you do with old costumes?: \r

Since a lot of people are upset about my answer, I just want to clarify that the projects Ive thrown out are not in a condition I would feel comfortable donating. A lot of my older (pre new) work was really poorly made - like, I once had a sleeve fall off while photographing a dress. And when I recently deconstructed something I made in new I found eight pins in it that I had no idea were there. \r
\r
A lot of my dresses are really heavy, difficult to get into, and require foundation garments to level the hems and fit into the waists. They arent designed with being on stage in mind. That paired with the poor construction = life in the trash. \r
\r
But I save a LOT of costumes! I have four bins full, a tiny closet bursting with them, and a dozen wall hooks with two hangers on each. I save the dresses I really love, and the ones Im proud of. So Im definitely not lacking examples of my work. \r
