One Strand Cobra Weave Paracord Survival Bracelet No Buckle Tutorial

  • 6 лет назад
Learn how to make a Cobra weave or cobra stitch paracord bracelet in this step by step DIY video tutorial. The cobra weave is a classic sinnet that is used extensively in macrame and is often used to make paracord bracelets. If it is tied with a loop and button knot closure it is often tied with two strands. This one uses only one strand so if you want your paracord back you can get a single long piece. The cobra weave is also known as the Solomon Bar or Portuguese Sinnet. In macrame it is principally known as square knotting. It features in The Ashley Book of Knots as knot #2496. It is tied as a stack of alternating half knots. This is a one piece made in one color, without a buckle and is finished with a knot and loop closure. Either a two strand overhand knot or knife lanyard knot could serve as the button.\r

The cobra knot is one of the most common knots for paracord bracelets. It is also used extensively as a lanyard knot, for paracord dog leashes, dog collars, key chains or fobs, zipper pulls, rifle slings, watch bands etc. Paracord bracelets are often used in the survival and prepper communities, for emergency cordage.\r
