12 people died after a rainstorm hit Rajasthan

At least 12 people died in Rajasthan after a rainstorm hit the region on April 11. Seven people died in Dholpur, while five others died in Bharatpur. Train movement was also affected on the Agra-Dholpur railway line due to heavy rain. Parts of Dholpur suffered heavy waterlogging. Roofs and walls of houses collapsed in at least six villages in Dholpur, leading to most of the deaths. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted the possibility of rain or thunderstorm or dust storm in Eastern Rajasthan for Wednesday. According to the forecast, the harsh weather conditions are expected to continue till Friday.
