South Korea's top security adviser meets with new U.S. counterpart in White House

South Korea's top security advisor Chung Eui-yong, who is in Washington on an *unannounced visit,... is to sit down with President Trump's newly appointed National Security Advisor John Bolton Thursday, local time.
The two security chiefs are believed discuss steps in laying the groundwork for a hotline between the two as they prepare for talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
It's Chung's first trip to the U.S. since his visit to the White House last month to brief President Trump on Kim's willingness to hold a summit.
No further information about Chung's trip has been made public.
