Cauvery protests ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to Chennai escalates. PM Modi who is observing a day-long fast will continue to do his official work. PM Modi on Thursday will visit Tamil Nadu and inaugurate several public infrastructure projects including the Defence-Expo 2018 that aims at showcasing India's capability in export of Defence Systems and Components. Prime Minister will also visit Cancer Institute Adyar in Chennai and will be inaugurating a variety of infrastructure projects there also including a Palliative Care Centre, Day-Care Centre and Nurses Quarter.
