From my heart to yours on International Women's Day #IWD2018
A few years ago my good friend, Shirin Tinati was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I watched her fight like the true Warrior she is. I wanted to be there for her. So much. I didn't know what to do so I wrote her a song.
Fast forward to today, Shirin is in remission now and she just finished directing her 1st project since her recovery- the music video for that song I wrote her- Am I Beautiful. Who knew that when this Persian Warrior Queen and this Israeli songstress would come together there would be such magic.
This is our ode to sisterhood and the power of unconditional acceptance, love and creativity to revitalize. I'm sharing this video with you on International Women's Day as an expression of our ability to be there for each other and next to one another when suddenly the smooth flow of our life's boat gets disrupted.
May there come a day SOON when we won't need an International Women's Day and Cancer will be a thing of the past. Till then we will stay strong and fight- TOGETHER.
