A 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit near the city of Ovalle in central Chile on Tuesday morning, April 10, rattling buildings in cities including Coquimbo and La Serena, about 90 km (55 miles) north of the epicenter.The earthquake was felt as far away as Santiago, 400 km to the south of the epicenter.
