Jacksonville State University CCTV Footage Showing Tornado Hitting Campus

Jacksonville State University released CCTV footage on April 7 showing the moment a tornado hit the campus on March 19, causing the university to close for three weeks.The video compiles security footage from several parts of the campus, both inside and outside, as the tornado hits.At one point, shelves of books are seen falling in a library as the windows rattle from the force of the twister. Another view, from Patterson Hall, shows a number of people struggling to open a door to let others inside.Classes were due to resume at the university on April 9.
