Gardeners Friend Homemade Insecticidal Spray ~ Noreens Garden

Hows it growin? Hope you are all having a great week and that your gardens are doing amazing! This week I want to share with you my recipe for a homemade insecticidal spray that you can throw together with common kitchen staples~!\r

This spray has a great number of appliations, the least of which is to keep bug off your plants and stop them from eating your precious harvest. This packs a powerful punch when it comes to overall insecticide. This is how you make it!\r
\r
1 quart water\r
1/2 cup cold coffee\r
2 tablespoons cider vinegar\r
1 tablespoon dish soap\r
1 teaspoon peppermint extr or 4 drops peppermint oil\r
2 tablespoons vegetable oil\r
1 teaspoon garlic powder\r
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder\r
\r
Mix all the ingredients together and allow to steep for 24 hours. Strain into a spray bottle and then mist your garden plants wherever this is needed.\r
\r
The combination of ingredients will get rid of everything form aphids whiteflies, caterpillars and squash bugs to ants, and other leaf munchers. \r
\r
