Microsoft to reverse course on Windows 8

Microsoft is preparing to perform a U-turn over key aspects of its much maligned Windows 8 operating system. Andrew Hill, management editor, talks to the FT's Daniel Garrahan about why the company finds itself in a situation where it might have to promote a product it has moved on from.
