Huaxi: China's Potemkin village?

For years, the village of Huaxi has been held up as a model of 'socialism with Chinese characteristics' but just like much of China, Huaxi is facing a host of new challenges as the traditional growth drivers that have made its villagers wealthy begin to run out of steam.
