This week the boys are testing out some climbing ropes, and there are some interesting discoveries about both the Black Diamond 9.6 and the Beal Opera.

The Beal Opera is designed as a high end sport and ice climbing rope, its also one of the lightest triple rated ropes on the market, coming in at 47g per metre.
The Black Diamond 9.6 is designed for crag climbing and multi pitch routes, slightly thicker than the Beal Opera, its more of a work horse rope that is durable and versatile.
