The World Tour is back and so is No Contest: Gold Coast 2018.

The world tour is back and so is No Contest! Come join us backstage.

Red Bull and Stab bring you the best of the Gold Coast action as the 2018 surfing world tour roars to life Down Under.

It seems an ice-age ago that Hawaiian prince John John Florence was crowned world champion on the sands of his beloved Pipeline but thankfully, surfing is back! The planet's best boardriders – male, female, long, junior – congregated on the Gold Coast to see various crowns fitted atop regal heads at the WSL Awards night a few weeks ago, then presto, the world tour was suddenly in the water at Snapper Rocks once more.

As we have done for the past few years, Red Bull are again bringing you the best of the behind-scenes-action, only this year we're partnering up with the splendid folks at Stab to really turn up the volume.

This year's Quiksilver Pro was one for the books. While Julian Wilson and Lakey Peterson took top honours and will head to Bells Beach wearing yellow, they were far from the only story lines to appear across one crazy week in the sun. Cyclone Linda swung south from the Coral Sea to really shake things up, crazy waves were had at Snapper Rocks, Kirra and even further afield, while a swarm of young guns upset the apple cart in the season opening event. Any surf fan tuned into the internet will know all of this already however, and that's where No Contest comes into play.

Jacob Wooden is again our main man on camera and editing duties, supported this year by Dylan Roberts and the Stab army of production wizards and lyrical ninjas, all going above and beyond to bring you the best of what's not shown on the webcast. Want to know where the Superbank's incredible sand comes from? We know. Keen to find out where to access the Snapper Rocks line-up? Let half the world tour explain. Interested in hearing about the worst board Darren Handley has ever shaped Mick Fanning? All will be revealed within.

We love No Contest with a passion, and in 2018 we're taking things onwards and upwards. Hit play now to soak up all the fun, we'd love you to join us.
