On Saturday, well-wishers gathered in the streets of Cambridge for the funeral of British physicist Stephen Hawking, one of the most celebrated scientists of his era. The work of Hawking, who lived with Motor Neurone Disease since he was 21 years-old, ranged from the origins of the universe, through time travel, and probing the unknown depths of black holes.
