Earliest North American Human Footprints Found
  • 6 years ago
Footprints from ice-age humans some 13,000 years ago have been found beneath the sands of a Canadian Island in the Pacific. They are the earliest prints ever discovered in North America.
The 29 footprints of three different shapes and sizes were embedded in a layer of clay on Calvert Island in British Columbia. Scientists believe were from a child and two adults.
