Three days after the ball tampering controversy which erupted in front of a global audience UN Cape Town, the cricket Australia has announced that Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft will fly back to Australia and will not play further in the ongoing tour of South Africa. While speaking to the reporters, the CA CEO James Sutherland said that the board will be in a position to announce sanctions in the next 24 hours. Australia will head into the final test on Friday without their best two batsmen on field while cricket’s governing body the ICC has already handed over punishment to Smith and test opener Cameron Bancroft last Sunday.
