Chrissy Teigen has been holding on to the biggest secret in Hollywood right now— who bit Beyoncé ? Everyone, but especially the Beyhive, has been demanding answers. Today, the supermodel got candid about the whole situation in an interview with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb.
It began as a very casual interview between the Today hosts and Chrissy, talking about her baby boy on the way and her marriage to John Legend. But then Kathie and Hoda couldn’t hold it in any longer. They both quickly switched gears to ask in unison the question that’s been on everyone’s minds since Beyoncé "Bitegate" started.
They followed that by asking for further confirmation that the whole thing happened: “So there really was a bite?” Chrissy said yes. Then they asked the next important question, “Why would anyone bite her?” That’s when the 32-year-old tried to defend the culprit a bit. “Listen, I think we’ve all done things under the influence…” She even said that she may have considered doing such a thing “after a few glasses of wine.” What?!
Even after the two women probed her for the biter’s name, the celeb mom continued to stay mum about it. She said, “The problem is, I love everyone involved. So I’m like [she makes a gesture to zip her lips].” But she did say, “It’s not someone who I thought it would be.”
