Good afternoon. Seoul will be covered in a thick layer of fine and ultra-fine dust for another day, while a three-day major smog alert remains in place around the West Sea and Beijing.

It surely is a tough spring for all of us trapped under the toxic smog,... and also those with allergies as the blooming flowers are causing sniffling and sneezing.

Eating spring fruits like strawberries and green vegetables like water celery can help allergy sufferers as well as reduce the effects of fine dust.

It will feel more like mid-April by the afternoon with Seoul getting up to 18 degrees Celsius, those of you in Daegu and Gyeongju will have highs of 24 and 23 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

The warming trend will continue for a while, but fine dust levels will remain relatively high.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

Many parts of South Korea will have spring warmth but high levels of fine dust, and most parts of North Korea will also be dealing with toxic smog.

As for the rest of Asia, intense heat will put millions at risk of heat-related illness across India this week. Temperatures have already soared to near 40 degrees Celsius.

For a heads up, rain will fall over most of Australia's major cities during the Easter long weekend, apart from Perth.

Heading to North America, after New York City was battered with four back-to-back nor'easters, spring has finally arrived.

As for South America, some welcome news, rains are expected to relieve Argentina’s drought-hit soy and corn crops over the weekend.

Taking you to Europe,...after a long winter marked by extreme weather including snow storms in unusual places, the first signs of spring are slowly appearing across Europe.

Lastly to Africa, rain in Tripoli will bring the temperatures down to the cooler side.
