**Please be aware, this videois based on Common Canon, that is to say, all Star Trek TV Shows and Films. Books, games and comics will generally not be used, though some minor crossover will occur from time to time.\r

EX: The Preservers and the Progenitors have not officially been designated as the same species, however it was left open to interpretation in the Shows and famed Star Trek writer Ron Moore has hinted that they are indeed the same. Further confirmation came in the Star Trek Online video game which finally linked the two and made it clear they are the same. While Star Trek Online is not Common Canon, it, along with the other available evidence, is enough, in my opinion, to state them as the same species.\r

It is important to note that many Star Trek fans differ greatly on what is and is not Canon, as well as how to handle the many contradictions that have arisen over the years. Civilization Ex will do its best to remain faithful to Common Canon, however these videos will only ever reflect an interpretation of Star Trek lore, and not official Canon in any way.**\r
