United Airlines Gives A Woman A $10,000 Voucher

On Thursday, Allison Preiss, a communications director, was traveling from Washington, DC, to Austin.
And she may have just had the best day ever...
United Airlines announced that the flight she was traveling on was oversold.
No one wanted to volunteer to take a later flight.
Allison was told that she was "the lowest-fare passenger," and was asked for her seat.
At first she was irked...
...until United gave her a travel voucher for $10,000 dollars!!!
Trip around the world anyone?
She tweeted, "On the upside, I wasn’t physically dragged off the plane and my dog wasn’t killed on board, so I’ve got that going for me...which is nice."
