South Korea is dispatching an advance inspection team to North Korea ahead of the pop concerts that are set to take place in Pyongyang in early April.
The team is currently in Beijing and will leave for Pyongyang today on the North Korean carrier Air Koryo.
The six-man team, made up of professional stage managers and government officials, will stay for three days, and inspect the two venues on technical aspects, such as lighting, stage and sound.
North Korea has agreed to hold two concerts, and on March 31st South Korea will be sending its 160-member troupe to Pyongyang to hold its first concert on North Korean soil in 13 years.
