Milk goats can be a good way to feed your family from your land. Milking goats is a good hobby, that yields milk, cheese, yogurt, and more delicious dairy products...

But how do you know if the goat you are buying is a good goat?

Should you buy a registered goat? How can you tell if the goat you are looking at is a quality animal?

When buying goats be sure to look for registered animals, and find farmers who keep records on their goats production.

These goats will usually be more expensive than goats people are selling that are not registered and don't have records, but you will regret buying a poor quality animal.
