Blue Ivy Had an All-Out Bidding War With Tyler Perry at Auction The 6-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z initially bid $17,000 on an acrylic painting of the actor Sidney Poitier at the Wearable Art Gala with her parents in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Vanity Fair reports that she ultimately lost the bidding war to Tyler Perry, who beat out Blue's second bid for $19,000. However, Blue Ivy didn't go home empty handed. The event was put together organized by Blue's grandparents, Tina Knowles and husband Richard Lawson, to benefit teen mentorship programs and a place for expression through theater and art.
