Stephen Hawking Finalized Paper Two Weeks Before Passing

Just two weeks before he passed away, Stephen Hawking submitted his final scientific paper which lays the theoretical groundwork for discovering a parallel universe. The legendary theoretical physicist is credited as the co-author to a mathematical paper that seeks proof of the "multiverse" theory, which posits the existence of many universes other than the one we know. The paper, which is titled "A Smooth Exit from Eternal Inflation", was approved on March 4, ten days before Hawking's death at the age of 76. The Sunday Times reports that the contents of the paper sets out the necessary mathematics for a deep-space probe to collect evidence on the existence of other universes.
